Job Description:

Entry-level, full-time, temp-to-hire warehouse role in the marine transportation industry that offers growth opportunities! In this role, you will be preparing customer orders in a timely fashion to meet quality standards and customer due dates, as well as meeting all labeling and packaging requirements set forth by the customer. Schedule is 7am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet time service requirements by following daily work order list
  • Package, inspect, label and prepare orders for delivery/shipment on a daily basis
  • Unpackage inbound orders and inspect parts
  • Move shipments into holding areas and marks packages with Customer Info
  • Follows daily manufacturing work orders giving special attention to various materials.
  • Move jobs as needed based on customer orders/ship dates.
  • Assists shipping area with package procedures as requested
  • Reports any quality concerns or discrepancies to management
  • Maintains tools and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe manner
  • Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 6+ months of related experience
  • Ability to lift at least 75 pounds occasionally
  • Organization
  • Oral Communication Skills
  • Written Communication Skills
  • Reading Skills – work off of customer drawings

Safety Requirements:

  • Wear appropriate safety gear
  • No loose clothing, jewelry
  • Hair past collar must be tied
  • No ear buds with music or cell phone
  • Keep all walkways and common areas clear of debris and dry
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
