Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to lead our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing test plans, executing manual and automated tests, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer expectations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for new and existing software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Automate test scripts using industry-standard tools to improve testing efficiency.
• Perform regression, functional, performance, and security testing.
• Lead and mentor junior QA team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in requirements reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with company and industry quality standards.
• Prepare and present testing reports and status updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/testing roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead position.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
