Job Description
 

Developing, integrating, and validating test solutions for IC validation and production. This includes designing test hardware and software, ensuring test environments are optimized, and collaborating across teams to ensure reliability, coverage, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop test hardware for both validation and production.
  • Create and maintain test scripts and automation tools to validate product performance and functionality.
  • Integrate hardware (e.g., testers, handlers) with software (test programs, automation scripts) to deliver complete, functional test solutions.
  • Set up and validate test environments, ensuring compatibility with production and validation requirements.
  • Debug issues across hardware-software interfaces and resolve integration challenges.
  • Analyze test results and failures to improve test procedures, coverage, and product reliability.
  • Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in test setups to enhance throughput and accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with design, test, and production teams to align test methods with specifications and ensure seamless execution across development stages.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), preferably with Advantest or Cohu platforms
  • Background in mixed-signal (analog/digital/RF) IC testing and characterization
  • Proficient in lab measurement and debugging techniques using instruments such as oscilloscopes,
    spectrum analyzers, SMUs, and multimeters
  • Familiar with test program development using C/C++, Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Matlab, Python or similar
  • Able to work independently with strong attention to detail and a structured approach
  • Comfortable working in a multi-cultural, cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus
