About the Role:

We’re looking for a driven, resourceful, and detail-obsessed Senior Marketing Web Developer who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can confidently navigate ambiguity. This is not just a “keep the lights on” role. You will own the web function end-to-end, from strategy to execution, with full accountability for performance, optimization, and process creation.

In this role, you’ll manage, build, troubleshoot, and optimize all our brand websites (Employ, Lever, Jobvite, JazzHR), marketplaces, and microsites. You will be the go-to expert for all things web, handling day-to-day updates, leading development requests, diagnosing and resolving issues (bugs, outages, performance drops), managing integrations (Marketo, plugins, analytics), ensuring technical SEO best practices, and keeping everything aligned to brand guidelines.

You’ll balance hands-on execution with strategic leadership, recommending best practices, implementing new processes, and continuously improving the user experience to drive measurable results. We need someone who is a builder and a problem-solver, who can create order in complexity, and who treats the web ecosystem like their own business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the day-to-day management and technical development of our websites (brand and microsites).
  • Build and maintain responsive, accessible, and modern web pages using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Manage and customize WordPress environments, plugins, and content workflows.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve web issues including bugs, outages, tracking/attribution errors, and lead flow problems.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to bring new campaigns, landing pages, and digital experiences to life—from concept to launch.
  • Translate UX and design concepts into pixel-perfect, conversion-optimized web pages that reflect brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and optimize site performance, technical SEO, and page load speeds.
  • Support A/B testing and user behavior testing to improve site performance and lead generation.
  • Analyze traffic trends and conversion metrics; provide proactive recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot integrations with key martech tools: HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce, Clearbit, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Lead QA and manage staging/production workflows to ensure clean rollouts and version control.
  • Build processes for managing inbound requests and ensuring efficiency across the team.
  • Stay ahead of industry best practices and make strategic recommendations to improve our web presence.

What you’ll bring:

  • 8+ years of hands-on web development experience; Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (including jQuery), and PHP.
  • Strong experience with WordPress development and backend configuration.
  • A user-first mindset with a deep understanding of UX/UI design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Familiarity with AJAX, JSON, XML, and DOM for dynamic content and integrations.
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser/platform testing and mobile responsiveness.
  • Experience using version control (e.g., Git) and working in staging/production environments.
  • Familiarity with Figma or Adobe XD, working knowledge of Pantheon, and an eye for visual design.
  • Excellent communication skills—you’re comfortable working across teams and explaining technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and is a self-starter
  • You’re a creative problem-solver, detail-oriented, and energized by building beautiful, functional web experiences.
