Job Description Summary

To strengthen our team at GE Grid Solutions, we are seeking a dedicated Team Leader – On-Site Services (m/f/d) for high-voltage installations and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of service technicians and fitters in the high-voltage service sector.

  • Ensure on-site safety for the entire team.

  • Oversee order execution in accordance with GE guidelines.

  • Submit weekly timesheets for the team and coordinate any scheduling changes with the project manager.

  • Perform service and maintenance on high-voltage equipment in Austria and abroad (6–400 kV, outdoor and SF6).

  • Provide site supervision and construction management for high-voltage projects (6–400 kV) domestically and internationally.

  • Offer technical support to the back office for preparing quotations.

  • Provide competent assistance and advice to the project team.

Profile / Qualifications

  • Preferably experienced in team leadership, with strong assertiveness and reliability.

  • Completed training as an electrical/high-voltage fitter, technician, or similar qualification.

  • Experience in site management, installation, maintenance, and commissioning of high-voltage systems and equipment.

  • Knowledge and application of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) regulations for the high-voltage sector, with relevant certifications.

  • Team player who enjoys travel and is flexible for assignments in Austria and abroad (focus on Austria).

  • German language skills at native or at least C1/C2 level (spoken and written).

  • Proficient in MS Office; good English skills are an advantage.

  • Collective agreement minimum salary for this full-time position: €4,623.87 gross per month (classification H0), plus assembly allowance, with willingness to pay more depending on qualifications and experience.
